BROOK MOTORS ’25 YEAR CLUB’

BOWLING EVENING

will be held on Friday, 3 July 2009
at the ALMONDBURY LIBERAL CLUB,

4 Thorpe Lane, Almondbury

The ’25 Year Club’ Committee is pleased to invite all 25 Year Club Members and all BMSSC members to the Brook Motors Annual Bowling Evening.

As usual there are two cups to be won!

The W B Cook Memorial Trophy

for those of pensionable age
(i.e. 60 for women, 65 for men)

The President’s Cup

for Working Members (both BML 25 Year Club
and BMSSC) and 25 Year Club
Associate Members
(all those under retirement age)

The competitions will commence at 4:00 pm prompt.  A pie and pea supper will be available from 7.30 pm onwards and the evening will conclude with a presentation of prizes at approximately 9.00 pm.

Tea & Coffee will be available from 4.30 pm - The Club’s Bar will be open for refreshments from 6 pm.

The entry fee for the Bowling Competition, inclusive of supper will be £3.00.  The cost to non-competitors for supper only is £2.00.

Very early replies please to: Michael Johnstone (01484 558301) or Gordon Oldroyd (01484 662391). Please note that the closing date for entry is Friday, 12 June 2009.  Numbers are restricted therefore entry is on a first come, first served basis.

Sets of bowls will be available for any non-bowling members wishing to take part in the competition.  Please come along to join in or just to relax as you wish, but most of all enjoy the evening.

Please Note:  For anyone competing in the competition, flat-soled shoes or trainers must be worn on the green.
